Syawal,
a month where we forgive among each other.
Tears of joy dripping on our faces,
after 30 days of fasting,
and the best festive month,
'Ampun maaf Zahir dan Batin',
as we say to our relatives and friends,
during the chilled morning mist,
as the 'takbir' we heard form our homes,
we pray for gratefulness to 'Him'.
Visit beloved ones had gone forever,
pray for them in the other world,
tears of sadness we shed,
only memories reminds of them.
'Al-Fatihah',
to the loving one leaves,
we celebrate with love and enjoyment.
To those loving ones,
that are far away from home,
letters flies with wishes and apologies to our parents.
As we are here,
you greatest child,
further from you,
are struggling for our future
to success.
And no matter how far you are,
You are still closed to our hearts.
